Dear member,
Another month has flown by and we are about to embark on one of
our busiest months with our Premier event ‘Herefordshire on the Edge’ running
on Sunday 25th from 8am at either ‘The Lion’ at Leintwardine or
‘Travellers Rest’ Ross-on-Wye. There are still a few spaces left so if you have
not entered yet, hurry up before its too late!
There are also runs Monday 19th through to
Friday 23rd all starting from Edisons Café , Thorn Business
Park, HR2 6JT. Why not start the day with one of their excellent breakfasts and
be ready to leave no later than 10.00am
All rides are between 100-180 miles on mainly “B” or “A” roads
with a few easy single track roads. There are plenty of ‘Points of Interest’
along the way. Because the routes were designed to ‘entertain’ our International
visitors attending this years HOTE the rides will have a leader, alternatively
you can have accurate Tulip instruction sheets or all of the routes are
available to download from the members area of our sections website. There is
no entry fee and we would be pleased to welcome anyone that wishes to come
along and on any motorcycle or Three wheeler.
The first of June sees the monthly Club night meeting at the usual venue of the Greyhound Builth Wells LD2 3AR, Why not have a lovely summer evening ride out and join them from 19:00.
6th June , Fancy a coffee and Brunch? Two Hoots Tea room at Devils Bridge at 11:00
15th June is a busy day with the 4th Trail Ride (not recommended for complete Novices) starting at 10:30 Clyro

added to the Calendar on 24th October, more details nearer the
time..)
This is followed in the evening by the Club Night BBQ (no
charge) at my home (Terry Pickering, Maycroft House, Winnal, Allensmore,
Hereford, HR2 9BS) starts at approx. 19:00, come on a bike……
21st, If you can’t make the Hfd & Beyond ride why
not join Geoff for Breakfast at Eardisley, HR3 6PW @ 10:00
Finally, just creeping into July… the 4th will
prove to be a special day out with a ride to the Fleet Air Arm Museum at
Yeovilton (no Motorways) and we will be shown around by David Morris the
museums Curator and includes a look behind the scenes at the Museums workshop
and the current projects.
The above is just a quick reminder of what’s happening over the
next Month but please look at the Sections Calendar for full details and
